Holer Nolan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th match minute, Hawk Tuah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayhan İncel to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Big Dickey in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Hawk Tuah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Holer Nolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hawk Tuah FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Henry Roos hit a great ball. The supporters of Hawk Tuah FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Hawk Tuah FC defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holer Nolan. The Hawk Tuah FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holer Nolan should have stopped the shot. Holer Nolan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bautista Elvira in the 60th minute. In the 60th minute, Mexico's Bautista Elvira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Bautista Elvira struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Holer Nolan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Holer Nolan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holer Nolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Big Dickey kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Holer Nolan firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Holer Nolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Ahlquist in the 88th minute of play. Holer Nolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Marcial Montrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Marcial Montrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Hawk Tuah FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
