Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kent Gunnarsson made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Terra Scaniae was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Hedling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khodadad Khan having to interfere. Kent Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Puig scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khodadad Khan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Einar Felin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Näfver in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Kent Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Terra Scaniae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Felin to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Oscar Näfver tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th play minute Oscar Näfver came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-1. Staffan Fribäck's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Staffan Fribäck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Terra Scaniae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Terra Scaniae's Einar Felin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khodadad Khan having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Kent Gunnarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Axel Tasis came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Khodadad Khan could save by the left post. Kent Gunnarsson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Oscar Näfver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kent Gunnarsson went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Näfver, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Gunnarsson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Oscar Näfver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terra Scaniae's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Näfver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Terra Scaniae had played much better football throughout.
