Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeki Önatlı in the 6th minute of the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeki Önatlı in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Alan Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dikili Sahil Spor the free kick. In the 21stth minute of the game Oktay Derelioğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Severino Abeyta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dikili Sahil Spor's Sabri Dino got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Severino Abeyta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oktay Derelioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 34th minute, Oktay Derelioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dikili Sahil Spor's Sabri Dino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Dikili Sahil Spor from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oktay Derelioğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sabri Dino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ertuğrul Sağlam got free with Thiago Pliego in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oktay Derelioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Oktay Derelioğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes Dikili Sahil Spor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Chile's Francisco Carballar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sabri Dino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, Dikili Sahil Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Sabri Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Dikili Sahil Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Sabri Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dikili Sahil Spor. Özgür Pekin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabri Dino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dikili Sahil Spor for a fine match.
