Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Almeyra F.C. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lucas Gonzalez hit a great ball. Almeyra F.C.'s Cristo Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Cristo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Colas. Cristo Colas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Cristo Colas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Colas having to interfere. Cristo Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Almeyra F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristo Colas quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Chano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Otsoko in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Saverio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Almeyra F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 40th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Almeyra F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adan Otsoko to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Otsoko in the 59th minute of play. If Danilo Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cristo Colas made a huge save. A collision led to Almeyra F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Danilo Remir hit a great ball. Almeyra F.C. made a substitution. Celedonio Xabat replaced Danilo Remir. Almeyra F.C.'s Fulgencio Natal was substituted for Adan Otsoko. Almeyra F.C.'s Cayetano Sarracino was substituted for Saverio Locaio. After 81 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Remir. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Cristo Colas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Cayetano Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
