The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FK Eldema Mstišov getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 22nd minute of the match. Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, FK Eldema Mstišov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FK Eldema Mstišov's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chiquito Flores quite easily take care of the ball. If Gabriel Šlapák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Kubánek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gabriel Šlapák struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Eldema Mstišov. FK Eldema Mstišov's Leonard Kubánek got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Josef Klímek hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Alp Akıncıbeyoğlus short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 57 played minutes FK Eldema Mstišov got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Kubánek. In the 60th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute of play forced FK Eldema Mstišov's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiquito Flores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 83rd minute of play. If Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led FK Eldema Mstišov's Leonard Kubánek to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
