Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitar Berbatov got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5thth minute of the game Dimitar Berbatov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Totyo Popisakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Eivind Lundemo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Dimitar Berbatov rounded Ecuador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Totyo Popisakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 21st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Dimitar Berbatov took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 29th minute. Primitivo Andino made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Daniel Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Totyo Popisakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Totyo Popisakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Totyo Popisakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Dochko Razpopov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Crusaders of Dark's Totyo Popisakov got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Dimitar Berbatov notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Totyo Popisakov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Totyo Popisakov. Crusaders of Dark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Primitivo Andino made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dimitar Berbatov struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crusaders of Dark. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Totyo Popisakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Dochko Razpopov walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The Crusaders of Dark players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
