The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Crusaders of Dark's Dimitar Berbatov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, Crusaders of Dark's Dimitar Berbatov got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 18th minute of the match. Dimitar Berbatov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when Crusaders of Dark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eivind Lundemo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Crusaders of Dark's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Totyo Popisakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crusaders of Dark's Totyo Popisakov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Crusaders of Dark from getting a goal against them. Dimitar Berbatov took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Dimitar Berbatov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Dimitar Berbatov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 55th match minute, Crusaders of Dark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vallo Lööper to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Totyo Popisakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitar Berbatov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Crusaders of Dark's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Dimitar Berbatov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Dimitar Berbatov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dimitar Berbatov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. If Eligio Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Dimitar Berbatov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitar Berbatov. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Einar Hjortberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Miliano Valdero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Crusaders of Dark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
