The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Rex Willets in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Tourist Bus Eleven FC's Lewis Rockey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Honduras booed when Tourist Bus Eleven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Woodhouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Honduras's Moises Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rex Willets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Willets having to interfere. Rick Woodhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinnie Hedley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tourist Bus Eleven FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Willets came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tourist Bus Eleven FC's Emmanuil Trubkin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Rex Willets made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Vinnie Hedley came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Tourist Bus Eleven FC's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vinnie Hedley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Vinnie Hedley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Garry Jefferson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tourist Bus Eleven FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garry Jefferson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emmanuil Trubkin made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vinnie Hedley immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rick Woodhouse in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rick Woodhouse in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute Vinnie Hedley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rick Woodhouse in the 94th minute.
