In the 24th minute, Han Wei Yuan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. Arlindo Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arlindo Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, FC Catalonia's Arlindo Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Han Wei Yuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Czeslaw Piczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Catalonia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Şinasi Ahioğlu in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Angelo Jenaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Jenaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 96th match minute, FC Catalonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Piczak to maneuver through the defense.
