When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Koby Wright took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sandu Vlaicu to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Attar came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koby Wright. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, İrfan Attar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Urzicuța's supporters rose to their feet, but İrfan Attar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jax Williamson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Koby Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Chiricheş. After having played for 48 minutes, Koby Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koby Wright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Harris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sorin Bârlă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
