The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dividing By Zero FC's Adam Fagrell did a great save. Adam Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Fagrell having to interfere. Dividing By Zero FC's Adam Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Adam Fagrell. Dividing By Zero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 30th minute, Albin Söderström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 38th minute of play forced Dividing By Zero FC's goalkeeper Adam Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Fagrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Adam Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixtus Skottfelt was the one to do the kick off. Joel Gaona's late challenge caught a Dividing By Zero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Gaona helped the player get up and apologised. After 50 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. In the 53rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adam Fagrell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Dividing By Zero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. 89 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adam Fagrell, 2-6. In the 94th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adam Fagrell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Adam Fagrell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
