Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Charly Rusterholz made the kick off which started today's match. Orestis Lazarou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Rusterholz in the 4th minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Arnout Arends got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Charly Rusterholz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Arnout Arends fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Rondo's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Orestis Lazarou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rondo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Jose Correa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnout Arends. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Orestis Lazarou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Orestis Lazarou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 55 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Rondo. Rick de Zee stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rondo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Jacco Hekman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orestis Lazarou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Charly Rusterholz made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. A sloppy throw-in by Roeland Hoogendorp in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jose Correa. 81 minutes into the game, Jacco Hekman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Arends in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charly Rusterholz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orestis Lazarou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orestis Lazarou having to make a save. Rondo's Orestis Lazarou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Rondo from getting a goal against them. In the 97th match minute, Rondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Braamhaar to maneuver through the defense. Rondo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
