When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Machado Santianes made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Sueiro in the 56th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Sueiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Independiente del Río getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ejder Sümer hit a great ball. Yin Cheng Han made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Machado Santianes in the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Yin Cheng Han. Independiente del Río's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 80th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Yin Cheng Han didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Ayon in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Independiente del Río's Emanuel Sueiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
