Boris Kerth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 14th minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mish Fútbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After 23 minutes of play, Mish Fútbol Club's Ronaldo Fitriansyah made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Ljusberg struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mish Fútbol Club. In the 88th minute Erik Ljusberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mish Fútbol Club's Boris Kerth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play.
