Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argir Goshev, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Argir Goshev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Rabakov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Daniel Rabakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Daniel Rabakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Argir Goshev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Argir Goshev took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 33rd minute, FC Aytos's Paulinho Negri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Blagoy Parizov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FC Aytos were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Rabakov took the corner. In the 39th match minute, FC Aytos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Negri to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Argir Goshev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Aytos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Argir Goshev got free with Benito Sanz in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Argir Goshev to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 90th minute of the match Daniel Rabakov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argir Goshev in the 94th minute of the match.
