With a little luck, Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Henrik Ingemarsson. Catholic Church's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. That made the score 0-4 in the 89 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Catholic Church's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Ingemarsson came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Catholic Church was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Bergqvist hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Catholic Church fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
