In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ's goalkeeper Tolga Acarbay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolga Acarbay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Abdulkerim Ulağ hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tolga Acarbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolga Acarbay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yüce Nizam to make the kick off. Tolga Acarbay was a little too slow when Felix Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Tolga Acarbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Andino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tolga Acarbay. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. In the 60th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tolga Acarbay. The goal made the score 0-5. Tolga Acarbay didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Luis Andino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Acarbay having to interfere. Tolga Acarbay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Abdulkerim Ulağ's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulkerim Ulağ helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ's Abdulkerim Ulağ got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tolga Acarbay. ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tolga Acarbay. The goal made the score 0-9. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
