Alberto-Federico Acosta scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Andreas Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Domeka in the 12th minute of play. Alberto-Federico Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Goito. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Carabata Groove's Herbert Pilipiec was substituted for Alberto-Federico Acosta. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Armin Atroce replaced Eduardo Domeka. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Hauk Hareide made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Hauk Hareide came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Carabata Groove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hauk Hareide couldn't finish the play. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Diego Bradley with Monty Rogers as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 73rd minute, Sam Campbell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristobal Goito. Monty Rogers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Hauk Hareide struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabata Groove. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Sam Campbell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Goito having to interfere. USA played a much better game than Carabata Groove and deserved their victory. The Carabata Groove players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
