In the 24th minute of the match, Edward Mcdonald tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Göktürk Semin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by AYYILDIZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Ali Nejat Atay hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 34 minutes into the match, AYYILDIZ's goalkeeper Göktürk Semin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. With a little luck, AYYILDIZ's Göktürk Semin got control of the ball when Monty Rogers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Göktürk Semin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 37th minute. The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Göktürk Semin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Gregorio Ruiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Göktürk Semin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, USA's Sam Campbell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göktürk Semin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Göktürk Semin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Baker in the 96th minute of the match.
