Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Roque Narvaja got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Narvaja saved Deportivo Mandiyu from getting behind. After 4 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Roque Narvaja got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roque Narvaja came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Roberto 吴勇 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Mandiyu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Roberto 吴勇 hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Roque Narvaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Narvaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Roberto Cherro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Mandiyu:s goal. 39 minutes into the game, Roberto Cherro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Cherro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cherro in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Cherro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roque Narvaja quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Deportivo Mandiyu's Roberto Cherro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 60th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cherro in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute, Roberto Cherro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Roque Narvaja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Rayan MacQueen replaced Adrián Guillermo. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Chiquito Benítez replaced Roberto Cherro. Florian Petruzzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquito Benítez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquito Benítez's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Chiquito Benítez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Mandiyu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignacio Lopez in the 96th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Florian Petruzzi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Although Ecuador had been in control for most of the match, Deportivo Mandiyu still came away with the win.
