In the 4th minute, Facundo Cadaval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Chiquito Flores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, FK Eldema Mstišov's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 11 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chiquito Flores, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Lautaro Mancebo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chiquito Flores, passed just outside the right post. In the 19th match minute, FK Eldema Mstišov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Večeřa to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Chiquito Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes FK Eldema Mstišov's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquito Flores having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FK Eldema Mstišov's Grigore Opaina got a free kick in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Facundo Cadaval during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mexico booed when FK Eldema Mstišov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Opaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu to make the kick off. Chiquito Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquito Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Lautaro Mancebo sped through FK Eldema Mstišov's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chiquito Flores. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. FK Eldema Mstišov's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Chiquito Flores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquito Flores. FK Eldema Mstišov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Chiquito Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chiquito Flores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 81st minute of play forced FK Eldema Mstišov's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 83rd minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Grigore Opaina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquito Flores having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Chiquito Flores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 91st minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Chiquito Flores. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
