A sloppy throw-in by Antonio Indiano in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nada Pontual F.C's Emilio Casomiro. Sam Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Sam Marcos. Nada Pontual F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Colombia booed when Nada Pontual F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Nada Pontual F.C's Macit Buyrukalp was substituted for Hortêncio Vander. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macit Buyrukalp in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sam Marcos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sam Marcos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Nada Pontual F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nada Pontual F.C's Sam Marcos did a great save. With a little luck, Nada Pontual F.C's Sam Marcos got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sam Marcos made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Sam Marcos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nada Pontual F.C's Cauã Ramos was substituted for Edgar Trigo. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Nada Pontual F.C's Joãozinho Dez was substituted for Alexsandro Linares. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Nada Pontual F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. The corner led Colombia's Pascual Carballar to fire away a dangerous shot which Sam Marcos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macit Buyrukalp in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
