Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Umbruso. 5 minutes into the match, Ensenadas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Mariano Andujar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Ensenadas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariano Andujar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Joshua Secada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Andujar was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 庞威沙's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 17th minute. 庞威沙 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Benino struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ensenadas. After 21 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Ensenadas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rdth minute of the game 庞威沙 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Siro Bazil hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mariano Andujar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Benino got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Benino made a kick off. Patricio Costa got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jonas Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ensenadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Benino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute, Carlos Alberto Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Benino in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute 庞威沙 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Siro Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ensenadas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Bazil in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Maximo Umbruso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ensenadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Celio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ensenadas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
