Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Paolo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Kliczek&Syn's Igor Furgal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Kliczek&Syn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kant Spel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Furgal in the 20th minute. Acep Abidin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Iwan Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Igor Furgal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Nakoneczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kant Spel got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Radomir Podolski. When Igor Furgal came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kliczek&Syn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Furgal couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Nakoneczny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Igor Furgal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Paolo Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kliczek&Syn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Rossi couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Furgal's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Nakoneczny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Furgal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Furgal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Kliczek&Syn got a freekick which was hit by Kant Spel. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Kliczek&Syn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kant Spel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kliczek&Syn's Baldemar Cienfuegos was substituted for Radomir Podolski. In the 76th match minute, Kliczek&Syn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kant Spel to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Iwan Nakoneczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes in the game Alex Chicote did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patricio Costa. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Igor Furgal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kliczek&Syn's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Furgal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kliczek&Syn's Kant Spel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Iwan Nakoneczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Acep Abidin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kliczek&Syn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acep Abidin couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kliczek&Syn players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
