Zapryan Sachanski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bocho Tagarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Zapryan Sachanski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobri Pipkov in the 51st minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Цървена звезда's goalkeeper Zapryan Sachanski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 62 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zapryan Sachanski, 0-2. Zhivko Tekerlekov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Цървена звезда getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Arso Kenarov hit a great ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zapryan Sachanski but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Zapryan Sachanski in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Цървена звезда's Zapryan Sachanski did a great save. Lilko Shentov charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lilko Shentov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Цървена звезда's Lilko Shentov got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Цървена звезда's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner.
