An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Hökkvist in the 4th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Hökkvist came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Hökkvist got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Varban Gugovski having to make a save. The supporters of Enex booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Varban Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Hökkvist came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yoncho Prelkov who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Marko Hökkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Marko Hökkvist sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Enex booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marko Hökkvist fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enex's protests and gave Marko Hökkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Marko Hökkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marko Hökkvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Marko Hökkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Enex fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Hökkvist in the 59th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enex's Varban Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Vesko Petelov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Enex had won after a very even match.
