Tåpajens Bagare BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn Bryngelsson in the 16th minute. Juan Sebastián Puig tried in the 16th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Julio Vera a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Mark Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Öberg. Tåpajens Bagare BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Öberg. Mark Öberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Bo Kac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Mark Öberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Tåpajens Bagare BK's goalkeeper Mark Öberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Bryngelsson in the 74th minute of the match. Mark Öberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Tåpajens Bagare BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tåpajens Bagare BK's Mark Öberg did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mark Öberg in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Tåpajens Bagare BK's Bo Kac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tåpajens Bagare BK's Björn Bryngelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Öberg made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tåpajens Bagare BK throughout the match.
