Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christer Sandström. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Uno Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Sandström got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zebastian Alebeck came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Uno Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Zebastian Alebeck sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Christer Sandström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of BK Kiken's goal. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Blom having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play forced BK Kiken's goalkeeper Uno Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Isaac Pihlgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Kiken and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Ek in the 53rd minute of the match. Isaac Pihlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, BK Kiken's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Uno Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrik Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Uno Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the BK Kiken players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Uno Blom threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joshua Secada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BK Kiken had won after a very even match.
