The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Venceslas Trilla in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind AntraX FDP.'s goalkeeper Venceslas Trilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AntraX FDP. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernandez Massey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Venceslas Trilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ramos Pachistre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ramos Pachistre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AntraX FDP. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Berberana didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 45th minute.

After 53 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the AntraX FDP. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Grueso Belluga managed to get in a good position for a shot. AntraX FDP.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Grueso Belluga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslas Trilla having to interfere. Nicolas Lape's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Lape helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes AntraX FDP. got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Lape. Patricio Costa scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venceslas Trilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AntraX FDP. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramos Pachistre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AntraX FDP.'s Roger Zunzunegui got a free kick in the 86th minute. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tomas Illescas sped through AntraX FDP.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Venceslas Trilla. After 94 played minutes AntraX FDP. got a freekick which was hit by Hernandez Massey. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venceslas Trilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Venezuela fully deserved thier win.
