Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albano Oliverio started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, BWANA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Abascal to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nestor Mikeldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Domingos Jusepe scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-1. Nestor Mikeldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Oliverio in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute BWANA FC were awarded a corner. Domingos Jusepe went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Mikeldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Aquiles Honesto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Nestor Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BWANA FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Domingos Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BWANA FC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Nestor Mikeldi made a huge save. In the 76th minute Albano Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BWANA FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Mikeldi came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Oliverio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BWANA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Oliverio charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Oliverio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Aquiles Honesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot.
