When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Pavel Kenov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. In the 15th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ikonom Brúmbarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Temida Sf's Rafail Lozenski got a free kick in the 18th minute. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Kenov in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 29 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ikonom Brúmbarov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Pavel Kenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Venelin Levenski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Pavel Kenov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Kenov in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Kenov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
