Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruben Casado started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Colognese FC's Ruben Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ruben Casado put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Alfredinho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ruben Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Casado came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alfredinho Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfredinho Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 30 minutes, Ruben Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colognese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ruben Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Casado in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Colognese FC made a substitution. Luan Leal replaced Ruben Casado. Colognese FC's Edgard Batista was substituted for Geovanni Leme. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a Colognese FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Batista in the 56th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgard Batista was slow to take the kick. During this time Colognese FC's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Leal in the 72nd minute of the match. Luan Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Luan Leal notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Batista in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Luan Leal put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredinho Carneiro. That made the score 3-2 after 93 minutes of play.
