Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Pimenta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Xurupita FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alonso Berganza made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Xurupita FC's Jarbas Pimenta managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 11th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Christian Arósio made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Kauan Rosa took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. After 44 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Pimenta was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kauan Rosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Joseph Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Rosa came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Xurupita FC's Jarbas Pimenta. Jarbas Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xurupita FC made a substitution. Betão Siqueira replaced Christian Arósio. Xurupita FC's Ange Garrec was substituted for Karni Yair. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Rosa in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Jarbas Pimenta in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarbas Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Kellbom in the 75th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ange Garrec, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Pimenta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. 84 minutes into the game, Betão Siqueira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jarbas Pimenta. Rafael Gallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Peru played a much better game than Xurupita FC and deserved their victory. The Xurupita FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
