Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabian Hermansson got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Bernardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Fabian Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahrtys Talanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Hermansson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Bernardo Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Adelsköld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfons Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Silva in the 27th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Silva in the 31st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bahrtys Talanger getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mattias Strömberg hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Adelsköld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bahrtys Talanger's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfons Lövgren quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Silva came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bahrtys Talanger's Bernardo Silva fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahrtys Talanger's Bernardo Silva. But to his dismay, Bernardo Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bahrtys Talanger made a substitution. Arvid Rang replaced Kåre Adelsköld. In the 68th minute of the game Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in which Tomas Illescas played forward. Arvid Rang struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahrtys Talanger. Alfons Lövgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Silva in the 87th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fabian Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Arvid Rang made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bahrtys Talanger fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
