In the 5th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 任战辰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 任战辰 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bud Weiser in the 19th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Atilla Tarkan Üster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 任战辰 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıza Sarim in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atilla Tarkan Üster who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on AvanakAvni's corner Atilla Tarkan Üster fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, AvanakAvni's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but 任战辰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 任战辰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes AvanakAvni got a freekick which was hit by Mostafa Mohamed. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AvanakAvni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bud Weiser didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mostafa Mohamed made a kick off. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, AvanakAvni's goalkeeper 任战辰 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of 任战辰 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mostafa Mohamed in the 68th minute of the match. AvanakAvni's 任战辰 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save AvanakAvni from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bud Weiser came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes AvanakAvni got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Tarkan Üster. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chukwufumnanya Faso in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match AvanakAvni got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Atilla Tarkan Üster ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of 任战辰 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rıza Sarim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıza Sarim in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergey Aguzarov hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The AvanakAvni players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
