Luis Andino hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nusnäs IF's Clodoveo Rojas. Clodoveo Rojas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bai Peng Ning came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nusnäs IF's Clodoveo Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Nusnäs IF defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Rojas. The Nusnäs IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Rojas should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st match minute, Nusnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svenne Berka to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bai Peng Ning in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes, Arne Lundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nusnäs IF and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arne Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Lundberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nusnäs IF's Clodoveo Rojas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Nusnäs IF from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nusnäs IF's Svenne Berka. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clodoveo Rojas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Nusnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Gregory. Clodoveo Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Clodoveo Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nusnäs IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Clodoveo Rojas, making the score, 0-3. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bai Peng Ning in the 88th minute of play. Nusnäs IF were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciriaco Gregory took the corner. 93 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Rojas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
