Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Durval Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio Pinho got free with Dante Lacasa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Moura to make the kick off. Durval Marinho came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Waldir Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Azevedo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Waldir Azevedo hit a great ball. The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute really tested Durval Marinho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Hermes in the 96th minute of the match. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
