Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hector Urko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Hector Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hector Urko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Eloy Laffitte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sinbosteros and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Sinbosteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Laffitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ciano in the 10th minute of play. Hector Urko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Juan Ciano made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Sinbosteros got a freekick which was hit by Juan Ciano. Roberto Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Inge during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, one of Sinbosteros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sinbosteros. After 25 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Napier. Roberto Napier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, Uriel Mikeldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinbosteros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sinbosteros's Uriel Mikeldi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Roberto Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Orlanda during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sinbosteros getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tomas Orlanda hit a great ball. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Napier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Hector Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Orlanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roberto Napier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 67th minute. After 67 played minutes Sinbosteros got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Laffitte. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Alfonso in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 79th minute of play forced Sinbosteros's goalkeeper Roberto Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Mauricio Miro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Sinbosteros's goalkeeper Roberto Napier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Napier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Roberto Napier made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Sinbosteros's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Napier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hector Urko kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
