He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Fabrice Béziat kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Philippe Wartel tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Louison Loth in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Yannick Guillerme got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Louison Loth. Christian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 35th minute. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luis Devillers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Louison Loth in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Devillers having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philippe Wartel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Villa scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Devillers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Honduras booed when Green Madness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannick Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Green Madness's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner led Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo to fire away a dangerous shot which Luis Devillers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Green Madness's goalkeeper Luis Devillers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Devillers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ivan Navarro's late challenge caught a Green Madness's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Rochet made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. A sloppy throw-in by Bernard Rochet in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 85th minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
