Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gwidon Majczyk kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Wehrkirchen's Daniel Nowak got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Zachary Bronicki struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wehrkirchen. After 30 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Lautaro Puig took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Lepper. Norbert Lepper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zachary Bronicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Norbert Lepper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. In the 43rd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Lepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

52 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norbert Lepper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Daniel Nowak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Wehrkirchen's Norbert Lepper got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wehrkirchen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Norbert Lepper despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gwidon Majczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Milosz Trochowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Lepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 65th minute of the match. Gwidon Majczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Moruga during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. In the 72nd minute, Stanislaw Gniewek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wehrkirchen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Zachary Bronicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Zachary Bronicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 played minutes Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Norbert Lepper stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Wehrkirchen of the goal. Stanislaw Gniewek kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Wehrkirchen booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Alcocer struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Norbert Lepper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. The Wehrkirchen manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Costa Rica to win.
