The White Star WK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Rafal Zagrobelny came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the The White Star WK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafal Zagrobelny couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The White Star WK's Peng Xu. Peng Xu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The White Star WK's Peng Xu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Tamayo in the 18th minute of play. Oso Biñuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind The White Star WK's goalkeeper Peng Xu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, The White Star WK's Oso Biñuela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After having played for 32 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Alan Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The White Star WK the free kick. Peng Xu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peng Xu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Peng Xu in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peng Xu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. When The White Star WK's Oso Biñuela in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
