Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kong Jing Kun started the match with the kick off. Liu Zhou Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of play. Pablo Aimar charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Aimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos's Pablo Aimar got a free kick in the 5th minute. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Kong Jing Kun let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 10th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Liu Zhou Feng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Los Galacticos were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xie Yue Chao took the corner. Kong Jing Kun kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Liu Zhou Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A collision led to Los Galacticos getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zhuang Liang Zhen hit a great ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kong Jing Kun in the 41st minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Kong Jing Kun sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Liu Zhou Feng. Liu Zhou Feng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Liu Zhou Feng came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 68th minute, Kong Jing Kun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. In the 71st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Liu Zhou Feng was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Zhou Feng having to interfere. Los Galacticos made a substitution. Ruben Le replaced Xie Yue Chao. Xiao Jian Bo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Ecuador's Antonio Arias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Antonio Arias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Antonio Arias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Jing Kun in the 85th minute of the match. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kong Jing Kun's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos's Kong Jing Kun got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Los Galacticos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
