The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Mateo Leguizamo a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leguizamo. In the 15th minute, Moises Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Bertassi. PIRATAS TFP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Joshua Curbelo with Abram Luque as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 31st minute, Moises Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Abram Luque took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cacá Bertassi. Cacá Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Cacá Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cacá Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Luque in the 43rd minute of the match. Cacá Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. PIRATAS TFP's Cacá Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Tamayo in the 47th minute of play. The PIRATAS TFP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-6.

Moises Fernandino succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. In the 85th minute, Moises Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Bertassi. PIRATAS TFP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. The throw-in from Luis Rubio in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PIRATAS TFP's Didi Salgado. El Salvador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
