Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zebastian Bergfeldt started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Bengt Petersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralph Roeles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Johan Saveneij. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ralph Roeles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Frankena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Zebastian Bergfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Zebastian Bergfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Zebastian Bergfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

56 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 57th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Roeles having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match Emiliano Caiola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralph Roeles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Serge Frankena got a free kick in the 94th minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
