In the 27th minute, Xinto Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Boomer Fc's Gumersindo Moreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boomer Fc throughout the match.
