A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Francisc Ciocâlteu hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Zotincă's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horaţiu Zotincă helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Horaţiu Zotincă hit a great ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marius Măgură kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrei Pavel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Măgură got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Adrian Jitaru made the kick off in the second half. FC Fanaticii's Aurelian Enișteanu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 51 minute of the game. In the 59th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Enișteanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Miguel Miralles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Buzea. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Pavel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Zotincă. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Măgură in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 79th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Ernest Poplăcean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes, Miguel Miralles made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
