With a left leg Cesar Donio saved San Antonio HotSPURS from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's Alonso Snider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonso Snider's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Alonso Snider took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonso Snider to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio managed to reach the ball for a save. 65 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio. Cesar Donio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Donio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 78 minutes San Antonio HotSPURS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 81st minute, Alonso Snider made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 88th match minute, San Antonio HotSPURS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Paquette to maneuver through the defense. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Micah Alston replaced Antonio Corley. After 91st play minutes Micah Alston shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Max Simon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. San Antonio HotSPURS were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
