Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Mingo having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Mingo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maciej Kowalski's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ilmi Duka was slow to take the kick. During this time Ac Milan's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ilmi Duka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 25th minute, Maciej Kowalski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Ac Milan's goalkeeper Everardo Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Maciej Kowalski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maciej Kowalski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Mingo having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Kowalski in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Kowalski in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilmi Duka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maciej Kowalski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After 53 minutes, Maciej Kowalski made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ac Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ac Milan's goalie and right to Agustín Saelices. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ac Milan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ilmi Duka came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilmi Duka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ac Milan's Ilmi Duka. But to his dismay, Ilmi Duka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Everardo Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Kowalski in the 71st minute of play. Everardo Mingo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. Everardo Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Mingo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Kowalski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Mingo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Kowalski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Ac Milan got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ilmi Duka ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Mingo having to interfere. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Ac Milan were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
