Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Kubánek in the 20th minute of play. If Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Eldema Mstišov's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Leonard Kubánek fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Eldema Mstišov's protests and gave Leonard Kubánek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, FK Eldema Mstišov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Klímek to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Chiquito Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Leonard Kubánek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. A very good chance for a goal. Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 77th minute Čeněk Laňka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute FK Eldema Mstišov were awarded a corner. Leonard Kubánek went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Čeněk Laňka. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Sebastián Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Sebastián Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FK Eldema Mstišov booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
