Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Flinston FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rogerio Fontarigo made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Reginaldo Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flinston FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Reginaldo Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Christian Custódio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rogerio Fontarigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Reginaldo Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 41 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Rogerio Fontarigo managed to make a qualified save. Flinston FC - DMZ's players were relieved. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Donatello came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rogerio Fontarigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tião Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogerio Fontarigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rogerio Fontarigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoffroy Derveaux kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Tião Donatello put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 85th minute, Patricio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play forced Flinston FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rogerio Fontarigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Herruz in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião Donatello got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Herruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Herruz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Flinston FC - DMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
